Announcements

Large group of students and a few adults pose together on a basketball court inside a gymnasium. They are smiling and wearing casual clothing, including several shirts with NAU and school logos.

The two volleyball teams from John F. Kennedy School recently took a special trip to Northern Arizona University to celebrate their first-place league finishes. The outing provided students with the opportunity to watch high-level collegiate volleyball and experience the thrill of a live game. For many, it was their first time seeing advanced skills — like a real spike — up close!

A standout moment was meeting a NAU player who is Navajo and originally from Tuba City, Arizona. She took the time to speak with the students and posed for a photo, leaving a lasting and powerful impression. Seeing a Native American athlete on the court inspired the girls, making the day even more meaningful.
